First of all, thanks for checking out the blog.  I hope to keep you guys informed and up-to-date going forward. 

I suppose the first order of business then is telling you about my new short poetry anthology, Cadaver: Horror Poems.  It's only $0.99, it's a collection of ten horrifying poems and available right now only on Amazon Kindle.  Here's the product description:

The thing is, I'm not sure how well it's going to sell because let's face it -- poetry doesn't sell like it used to.  I'm hoping that given the low price and that kickass cover image, people will give it a try.  With every passing year, it gets harder to cut through the static noise of the hundreds of thousands of new e-Book releases on Amazon.

Alex Hartwell is a novelist, poet, journalist, screenwriter and script consultant. He is the author of the Shifters supernatural horror series in addition to having worked with film producers in the USA and Australia.
